DON'T MISS: the first "TasteIN" Easton networking event to benefit Junior Achievement (JA, www.ja.org), to be held 6:00 - 10:00 PM Friday, 28 June 2013 in the Gold Room at the Grand Eastonian Suites Hotel, 140 Northampton Street, in Easton, Pennsylvania. Highlights of the event will include: • Awareness and support of Junior Achievement • National exposure through Evolution Magazine • Locally prepared hors d'œuvre and drink pairings • Networking with regional business leaders and dignitaries • Mission and vision statement, Darnell G. Davis, CEO, EMG • Keynote address, Judi Simmons, President, JA Berks/Lehigh Valley "[JA's] volunteer-delivered, kindergarten-12th grade programs foster work-readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy skills, and use experiential learning to inspire students to dream big and reach their potential." TasteIN Easton is a professional networking event to promote awareness and raise funds for JA, and will host a food tasting with beer and wine pairings featuring local restaurants and producers. The event is designed to connect people, ideas, culture, and business in order to create value streams through a magnitude of new, diverse relationships. In addition to donating a portion of proceeds from ticket and sponsorship sales, and to prioritize the number of new donors over strict donation, EMG's goal is to raise $1000 for Junior Achievement through 500 donors each giving $2.
