MEETING REGARDING YOUTH AND SUMMER ACTIVITIES at YEA (Youth Education in the Arts) Building in Downtown Allentown

Good Afternoon! We hope everyone is enjoying our late spring weather as we head into summer sun and fun! Our next meeting will be this Tomorrow, THURSDAY JUNE 13, at 11 AM. We will meet for one hour at Youth Education in the Arts (YEA!), located in the Musselman Arts Development building on the corner of 6th and Hamilton St in Allentown. We meet in the conference room located off our lobby as your enter the corner door on the corner of 6th and Hamilton. There is convenient public parking on the street or at the corner of Linden and 6th Street – 100 yards from the Studio; you will find a parking lot and two parking garages. It is meter marking at $1.00 per hour. June 13th is a special day at Youth Education in the Arts – the building will be buzzing with excitement as our premier touring youth organization The Cadets are in town for one day. They are performing for two events - Summer in the City, at PPL Plaza from 12:00 to 1:00, and later at “YEAllentown Benefit Concert” at Miller Symphony Hall on 6th St – more about that further in this email. The building will be up and jumping, but that said, we will have plenty of privacy in the conference room directly located off our lobby using the 6th and Hamilton doors. We ask that if you have summer plans for youth, please bring that information to share – the more we involve youth while not in school the better the summer will be for them. Of particular note, the Front Porch Project will take place on July 13. We will have a site locked by this Friday. We will have 30 spots open for this fee event, lunch will be included. It will run from 9:00 to 3:00. Please pass get the word out, flyers will be sent in the very near future for distribution and sign up procedure. A reminder – we will NOT be meeting in July. Our next meeting will be Thursday August 8. We look forward to seeing you on Thursday! Jenna and Eric Information from our community: HYPE needs your support! Our success will depend on your support.
