Junior Achievement will be hosting their annual Young Women’s Symposium: Pathway to Careers on Tuesday, October 29 at LCCC. Please consider serving as a volunteer and mentor for this one-day event created to inspire 10th and 11th grade young men and women. There are three ways to get involved:
· Serve as a Career Exploration Panelist for one hour, sharing your career and educational experiences with approximately 25 young men or women interested in your career field.
· Participate as a Networking Lunch Mentor, immediately following the Career Panel Breakouts. Enjoy a catered lunch while networking with the students, as well as with other local business professionals. (Approximately 1.5 hours).
· Stay all day, and volunteer to serve as a Facilitator from 8:00 AM – 1:30 PM. As a Facilitator, you will work with a handful of students all day, assisting them in group activities, networking with them at lunch, and serving as their key contact throughout the day.
