The Allentown School District Foundation is accepting proposals for mini-grants from Allentown School District teachers, guidance counselors and nurses for projects that provide innovation in learning. This grant program is designed to enhance student learning and student interest in learning by providing educators an opportunity to exercise their passion for teaching, develop their ideas, partner with colleagues, and connect with the wealth of knowledge, expertise, and talent within ASD and the Allentown community. A project design should enhance regular curriculum.
Grant awards range from $800-$1,000, and approximately 8 to 10 mini-grants will be awarded. Proposals are due to the ASD Foundation by 4:00 p.m. on Monday, October 25. Awards will be announced after November 8, 2013. Funds must be spent by June 30, 2014. A final report is due June 30, 2014.
