              AARP Driver's Safety Course

America On Wheels welcomes their friends from Arbor Insurance to conduct their 2-Day Initial Course for AARP Driver's Safety at AOW.
  
DATES:  September 17 and 18
TIMES:  9 am to 1 pm
COST:    $12.00 AARP Members 
               $14.00 Non-Members
LOCATION:  AOW - 5 N. Front St., Allentown, PA

1st Annual Cruise & CARnival

Saturday, September 14
Car Cruise will begin at LVHN-Muhlenberg at 9:30 am heading to America On Wheels.  ALL VEHICLES, CARS, TRUCKS & MOTORCYCLES -- ANY YEAR OR MAKE are invited to participate.  A dash plaque and goodie bag will be given to the first 150 drivers. REGISTER EARLY by calling 610-432-4200 x10.
  
Upon arrival, the CARnival begins at AOW with children's inflatables, face painting, magic, crafts, games, bingo madness, dunk tank and a special presentation by Bob Swaim and his unique bicycles. Outside Event Free with special admission price to enter AOW at $5.00 Adults/Seniors, $4.00 students 13-16, children FREE to age 12.  Feel free to bring your lawn chairs, pop up tent & canopy to enjoy all the activities!
  
Linda Merkel, Executive Director, says "America On Wheels is proud and excited to collaborate with the Coco Foundation and Lehigh Valley Health Network in bringing this fun and educational event to life.  Those of us at AOW believe that our museum is a community institution that should be an educational resource, not only about subjects associated with the transportation industry, but also about topics and issues that may affect the residents of the Lehigh Valley and surrounding region".
